TACERA One Day Workshop Report - March 14, 2017
The TACERA One Day Workshop Series continued with great success on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Amarillo, Texas at the Randall County Fire Station. This Spring One Day Workshop had 75 attendees, 10 sponsors and the best road training program in the state. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the great group of people that made this workshop a grand event. First a big Thank You to our TACERA Office Staff (Markie and Selina) as well as Joe Trammel and Chad Davis. They did a great job with organizing and executing this day long workshop. Next, Thank You to our Sponsors Warren Cat (hamburger lunch), Yellowhouse Machinery (donuts, ball caps & key chains), Ergon Asphalt (gift cards), Bruckners Truck Center (drinks & ball caps), American Equipment (coolers & laptop cases), Rockmount Welding Supply (ball caps), Gem Seal (ball caps), Bee Equipment (ball caps & phone chargers), Total Patcher (ball caps) & last but not least TACERA (gift cards). These sponsors supplied our attendees with valuable information to be use in their road professional jobs. Finally, I would like to say Thank You to our TxLTAP training partners at UT – Arlington & Tim Sorrells & Chief Amerson at Randall County . They did a great job with all their presentations and hosting the one day training.
The TACERA Board of Directors created this One Day Workshop Series about 5 years ago to fulfill our mission of bringing valuable training to the boots on the ground county road workers around the state. We wanted to reach out to the many county personnel who cannot make it to the Annual TACERA Conference in San Antonio each year.
